Cosy and light with all you need for a weekend escape

The farmhouse was built to a scale more commonly found on the sugar cane estates of the north coast of KZN and was much larger than the family needed. The private wing was therefore converted into a self-contained unit to help the farm get on its feet. It has its own entrance and garden.

It also boasts the best fireplace on the farm which makes it really cosy in winter. It has a large sitting room, dining room and kitchenette. There is also a large family bedroom with an extra-long king size bed, twin bedroom and verandah with a magnificent view of the Nhlosane mountain.

Games

We have a variety of indoor and outdoor games available at the farm house including badminton, croquet, scrabble, jenga and a selection of puzzles, please come and ask us. Then if you are not worn out by the evening, or on rainy days, there is a pool table and table tennis table in a converted stable central to all the cottages.
