The barn cottage was one of the original farm tractor sheds and comfortably sleeps 6. It is situated in a kikuyu field above the farmhouse where the horses often graze. It was converted largely using the farm staff when they had time to spare and took almost 2 years to complete.

It is ideal for families taking their children and friends out from school as the 2nd bedroom has twin beds, a bunk bed and ensuite bathroom with a shower. The main bedroom has an extra-long king size bed and full ensuite bathroom. There is a large open plan fully equipped kitchen/sitting room with a fireplace and large verandah with a wonderful view of the Nhlosane mountain.

Wholesome farmhouse meals available on request using local seasonal produce. Please contact us for details. Meals need to be booked in advance.

We have a variety of indoor and outdoor games available at the farm house including badminton, croquet, scrabble, jenga and a selection of puzzles, please come and ask us. Then if you are not worn out by the evening, or on rainy days, there is a pool table and table tennis table in a converted stable central to all the cottages.
